The Summer colour family
Summer is the cool family with soft, slightly dusty colour. Its shades are quiet and cool: dusty rose, grey-blue, lavender, soft plum.
There are four subtypes: Light, Cool, Soft and True Summer. Coolness is what they share; depth and clarity of colour are what set them apart — and that decides what works next to your face.

How to recognise this family
- Skin with a pink or neutral-cool undertone
- Cool hair: ash blonde, mousy, cool brown
- Silver suits you better than gold, and bright clear colours read as harsh
